The International Commission (Hashd) calls for the rule of law and to eliminate internal violence.

 

 

The International Commission to Support Palestinian Rights (Hashd) strongly condemns and denounces crimes of family tension and internal violence in the Palestinian territories, the most recent of which was the murder of Akram Nafez Hamdan (18 years old) after he spent 17 days in intensive care after a family fight in Beit Hanoun. In the northern part of the Gaza Strip.

On Monday, June 12, 2023, it was stated that Ibrahim Zakaria al-Hayek (17 years old) of Qatanna, northwest of occupied Jerusalem, was murdered by a gunshot wound to the head after a family fight in which a house in the town was set on fire.

The International Commission to Support Palestinian Rights (Hashd) renews its condemnation of these crimes directed at the community because of the grave danger they pose to the rule of law and the civil and societal fabric, and thus it calls on the authorized authorities to open serious investigations into the circumstances of the two unfortunate incidents and to take deterrent legal measures against the perpetrators in a manner that preserves the rule of law and the civil and societal fabric, and to take the deterrent legal measure against the perpetrators in a manner that preserves the rule of law, and accordingly demands the following:
