Urgent Statement and Appeal

The International Commission “Hashd” Calls on the Free People of Our Nation and the World to Take to the Streets to Pressure Governments and International Organizations to Fulfill Their Ethical, Legal, and Humanitarian Responsibilities to Stop the Ongoing Genocidal War

The International Commission “Hashd” condemns the genocidal actions carried out by Israeli occupation forces in northern Gaza and the Jabalia camp. Today marks the 381st day of the aggression and the 17th day of the siege on the north. The atrocities are brutal, horrifying, and unprecedented in the history of humanity, with mass killings of children and women, targeting of civilians, and committing massacres against Palestinian families. Homes are being destroyed over residents’ heads without prior warning, resulting in over 650 martyrs, missing persons, approximately 1,500 injured, and the forced displacement of tens of thousands from the north to the south of the Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, occupation forces continue to obstruct and prevent medical teams and civil defense units from evacuating the injured and retrieving the bodies of the martyrs from under the rubble and streets.

The International Commission “Hashd”: The Israeli occupation army is deliberately besieging the northern Gaza Strip, particularly targeting shelters, attacking, burning, and demolishing them. It is forcing displaced residents to evacuate these shelters under the threat of weapons, pushing them to the south of the Strip, creating a new Nakba and emptying northern Gaza of its population.

The International Commission “Hashd”: For the 17th consecutive day, the occupation forces continue to impose a suffocating siege, starvation, and thirst on 200,000 people in the northern Gaza Strip, preventing the entry of humanitarian aid and obstructing the work of humanitarian organizations. They also block the supply of fuel needed to operate water wells, communication services, and hospital generators, which have been targeted by the Israeli occupation through burning, destruction, shelling, and encirclement, aiming to disable them and stop their operation. This is part of a systematic destruction of all life essentials, including water wells, agricultural lands, and commercial establishments, exacerbating the humanitarian disaster that threatens the lives of patients, the wounded, the elderly, women, and children.

The International Commission “Hashd”: While it continues to condemn the ongoing international inaction and failure to halt the genocide against Palestinians, it reiterates the responsibility of the international community, third-party states, and international organizations to intervene coercively and humanely to uphold the rules of international humanitarian law and international human rights standards. It calls on world leaders, nations, and international and regional organizations to escalate official and popular actions to stop the Israeli aggression, genocide, displacement, siege, and starvation, ensure the opening of safe corridors for the flow of humanitarian aid and medical supplies, and activate mechanisms for accountability, boycott, and imposing sanctions on the State of Israel and its leaders.
