International Commission “Hashd” Condemns the Horrific Massacre Against Forcibly Displaced Persons at Abu Hussein School in Jabalia Camp

The International Commission to Support Palestinian People’s Rights “Hashd” strongly condemns the brutal and horrific massacre committed by Israeli warplanes at Abu Hussein School, which shelters thousands of displaced persons in Jabalia Camp. This atrocity resulted in the deaths of 28 martyrs and the injury of 160 others, most of whom were children and women. This attack brings the number of targeted shelters and displacement centers by Israeli forces to 192 since the beginning of the genocidal war.

The International Commission “Hashd” emphasizes that this massacre coincides with a ground military assault, during which occupation forces have committed a series of massacres and atrocities. For the fourteenth consecutive day, a suffocating siege has led to over 500 deaths and more than 1,000 injuries, alongside the forced displacement of thousands of families. It has endangered the lives of 200,000 residents in northern Gaza, who continue to face the threat of death, either from Israeli bombings or from hunger, thirst, lack of essential medical supplies, and the collapse of health services. The Israeli occupation forces’ deliberate implementation of a plan aimed at besieging, displacing, and emptying the northern region of its residents reveals the colonial and racist nature of Israel, which relies on genocide and state terrorism to implement its projects aimed at liquidating the Palestinian cause.

The International Commission “Hashd”: denounces the ongoing disgraceful international failure to halt the crime of genocide and to compel the occupation to respect the rules of international humanitarian law and enforce the measures of the International Court of Justice, as well as the resolutions of the UN Security Council and the General Assembly.

The International Commission “Hashd”: calls on the international community, the High Contracting Parties to the Geneva Convention, the United Nations, and countries and free people worldwide to form an international humanitarian coalition and take serious action on all levels to stop the Israeli aggression and genocidal war. This includes opening the crossings, ensuring the flow of humanitarian aid, especially to the residents of the northern region, preventing the implementation of displacement plans, and providing international protection for Palestinians.

The International Commission “Hashd”: urges the imposition of boycotts and sanctions on the Israeli occupation state, leading to its expulsion from the United Nations and the accountability of its leaders, soldiers, and supporters. This applies to those who provide assistance in military, intelligence, political, economic, media, and other fields that have contributed to and continue to enable the crime of genocide.
