Hashed for day 134, famine in northern Gaza is wreaking havoc on lives and revealing the true goal of the Israeli war.

The International Commission to Support the Rights of the Palestinian People “Hashd” for day 134 of the ongoing Israeli genocide war in Gaza, the occupation forces continue to prevent the arrival of humanitarian and relief aid to the residents of the northern sector, estimated at about 400,000 citizens, which has led to the spread of a severe and unprecedented famine in the history of humanity and international conflicts among the population, causing the deaths of dozens of citizens, most of them patients, children, women, and the elderly due to famine, thirst, the spread of diseases and epidemics, and the lack of health and humanitarian services in light of the obstruction and obstruction of the work of the International Relief and Works Agency and other humanitarian organizations in northern Gaza, which confirms the determination of the Israeli occupation forces to destroy and exterminate the population of Gaza, empty the northern sector of its population, and force them to repeatedly forced displacement as part of a plan to manufacture a new catastrophe and empty the sector of its population and force them to forced migration outside Palestinian territory.

The International Commission “Hashd”: The total aid that has reached the Gaza Strip from 18-12-2023 until 18-2-2024 is about 7,000 trucks, which does not exceed 5% of the needs of the population in the Gaza Strip, which has led to the spread of famine, thirst, diseases, and the worsening of the disastrous and catastrophic humanitarian conditions that the population of the sector is living under, in light of the continued aggression and collective punishment, and deliberately obstructing the flow of aid by the Israeli occupation forces and using it as a weapon of war and as a form of collective punishment that rises to the level of war crimes and crimes against humanity.

The International Commission “Hashd”: The Israeli occupation forces continue to repeat the pattern of war crimes against hospitals and the health sector, which has led to the destruction and putting out of service 84% of hospitals, as the Israeli occupation forces continue the crime of besieging and storming Nasser Hospital and Al-Amal Hospital and forcing the patients, wounded, and displaced persons in them to evacuate the hospitals, as more than 100 doctors and workers were arrested in Nasser Hospital and 120 Red Crescent teams in Al-Amal Hospital, and a number of wounded and displaced persons who were interrogated and tortured, while the Israeli occupation forces continue to destroy hospital buildings and facilities, and cut off electricity and oxygen to the patients and wounded, leading to the death of 5 wounded, and the detention of humanitarian aid convoys and medical supplies and preventing them from entering Nasser Hospital, which is still under a suffocating siege, and preventing the evacuation of 120 serious cases to other hospitals.

The International Commission “Hashd”: Welcomes the position and decision of the International Court of Justice regarding the situation in the Gaza Strip, especially in the city of Rafah, which described it as a dangerous catastrophic situation that warns of exacerbating the humanitarian nightmare that is indescribable, warning of the danger of a ground attack on the city of Rafah as it constitutes a threat to regional security, emphasizing the urgent need to implement the measures that ensure the Israeli occupation state’s compliance with its obligations under the Genocide Convention, including the protection and safety of Palestinians in all areas of the Gaza Strip.

The International Commission “Hashd”: Condemns the continuation of the crime of genocide against the people of the Gaza Strip and the continued international inability to stop it, and calls on the Security Council to expedite its role in monitoring the implementation of the International Court of Justice’s decisions to stop the continued Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and to provide international protection to Palestinians, the serious move to prevent the expansion of the ground attack on the city of Rafah, which threatens to displace Palestinians outside the occupied Palestinian territories, and to ensure the opening of additional humanitarian corridors and the development of mechanisms for the entry of humanitarian and relief aid to ensure its sufficient flow, which contributes to stopping the famine and the humanitarian catastrophe caused by the continued Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip for 134 days in a row.

The International Commission “Hashd”: Calls on the State of Palestine and the countries of the world to refer the ongoing crimes of genocide and aggression to the International Criminal Court for a serious investigation, and calls on the Prosecutor General’s Office to issue arrest warrants against the perpetrators of genocide and war crimes, to stop the policy of procrastination and selectivity in implementing international law, and also calls on the State of Palestine to join the lawsuit filed by South Africa with the International Court of Justice, and to support the use of the principle of judicial jurisdiction to hold the leaders of the Israeli occupation and their partners accountable before national courts.

The International Commission “Hashd”: Calls on the United Nations, the High Contracting Parties to the Geneva Convention, the Convention on the Prevention of Genocide, the Free Peoples of the World, and international and regional organizations to intensify their individual and collective efforts and political, diplomatic, and popular movements to stop the Israeli aggression and the catastrophic suffering of civilians before it is too late and to ensure the implementation of the decisions of the International Court of Justice, which stipulate the protection of Palestinians from the crime of genocide, support the work of the International Relief and Works Agency and other international organizations in carrying out their role in providing relief to the Palestinian people, until the end of the occupation and the dismantling of the colonial and apartheid system.
