ICSPR HOLDS TRAINING SESSION ABOUT THE SCHOOL PARLIAMENT
On Tuesday morning, the International Commission to Support Palestinian Right (ICSPR) held a training session about parliamentary concepts and the importance of a school parliament at Aleppo Primary School “B” in Gaza City. During this session, the concept of parliament was explained in general to students. The students also got the chance to know more about the task of the school parliament also how to discuss it within its framework.
The trainer Shaimaa Al-Qassas explained the concept and the function of the parliament. The school parliament consists of the speaker of the parliament, two deputies and the general secretary. Then she discussed the functions of the three committees and how to activate the committees within the classroom and put the debate in the parliament in a simple manner comes with the minds and thinking levels of the students.
As well as the Professor Suhail Abu Al-Aaraj, the general supervisor of the school parliament at the ‘ICSPR’, stressed that there is a need to pay attention to the school parliament, which would be a free democratic platform among the students.
