Press Release,

ICSPR: Israeli occupation forces are shedding the blood of Palestinian civilians and demonstrators in Gaza Strip

The International Commission to Support Palestinians’ Rights (ICSPR)  Strongly condemns the Israeli occupation forces’ killing of Palestinian civilians, particularly Palestinian peaceful demonstrators, As a direct result of the international silence on the grave crimes and violations committed by the Israeli occupying forces in the occupied Palestinian territory, As the Israeli army continues to be immune to international accountability and justice. According to preliminary information available to the international commission, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that on Tuesday morning, 18 September 2018, Israeli occupation forces killed 40 Palestinians: Naji Jamil Abu Asi 18 years old, Alaa Ziad Abu Assi 21 years, Mohammed Abu Naji 34 years, Ahmed Mohammed Omar 20 years.

The International Commission to Support Palestinians’ Rights (ICSPR) deplores the deliberate Israeli targeting of civilians and civilian objects in Gaza Strip, Considering the grave danger of the escalation of Israeli war attacks, which are associated with the events of the return marches and the breaking of the siege, warns the Israeli occupation state and its military forces of any harm to the lives and safety of those involved in peaceful marches and to take legal responsibility for this, Therefore, ICSPR demands the following:

1-  ICSPR deeply concern over the current Israeli military escalation, which may constitute the prelude to a new Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip.2.      ICSPR Urge the international community (states – organizations) to exert sufficient political and diplomatic pressure on the Israeli occupation state to stop 2- the commission of any crime, violation or international violation of the participants in the return marches and breaking the siege.

3- ICSPR Urge the Palestinian diplomacy to exert more efforts to inform the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court of the facts of these crimes and to urge them to make further efforts to complete their preliminary studies and move forward towards the opening of an international investigation of international crimes committed by the occupation forces.

4- Invites the international community and the contracting parties to the Geneva Convention to recognize the urgent and urgent action taken by the Israeli occupation forces against their repeated actions in  Gaza Strip.
