SOLIDARITY STAND ON THE OCCASION OF THE WORLD DAY OF SOLIDARITY WITH THE PALESTINIAN PEOPLE IN GAZA.
International Commission to Support Palestinian Right (ICSPR) organized in cooperation with Al ISRA University on Wednesday 29 November 2017 a solidarity stand on the occasion of the world day of solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza at Al ISRA University attended by hundreds of University students activists of civil society and academic staff.
Dr. Adnan Al Hajjar head of Al ISRA University said that the commemoration of this solidarity day since 40 years means that there is an international and national sympathy with the Palestinian people an that was supposed to play an effective role for the establishment of an independent Palestinian State and to help the Palestinians to achieve their right of self determination.
Al Hajjar demanded the international community to assume its responsibilities and stand beside the Palestinian people to achieve their right and to prosecute Israel of its crimes against the Palestinian people noting that the international communitys silence is a green light to commit more attacks and crimes against the Palestinians.
As well as he called on all Palestinians to end the division and restoring Palestinian National Unity as soon as possible.
Dr. Alaa Hamouda Director of training department at ICSPR said that we need to tell the world that there are still geographical region named Palestine still under occupation and needs support and solidarity.
He also clarified that on the occasion of the world day of solidarity with the Palestinian people we tell the United Nations and the countries of world to make serious action in order to activate all international resolutions relevant to the Palestinian cause until we get our right to self determination and an independent State and return to our lands.
Hamouda also emphasized on the need to restore unity and ending the division restoring Palestinian Unity working together to develop a national strategy based on isolating and boycotting Israel to hold the Israeli Occupation accountable and institutionalization of international solidarity movement by Arab and Palestinian communities and human rights as well as employing social media and relations with friendly countries to ensure halting the crimes of the occupation in addition to enable the Palestinian people to realize their legitimate rights.
