THE INTERNATIONAL COMMISSION TO SUPPORT PALESTINIAN RIGHT (ICSPR) PARTICIPATES IN THE FIRST EUROPEAN CONFERENCE ON ANTI-SETTLEMENT IN BRUSSELS
The International Commission to Support Palestinian Right (ICSPR) participates in the first European conference on anti-settlement in Brussels
Palestine / Gaza Strip: Tuesday, 07 November 2017Karem Nashwan, Director of the Legal Department of (ICSPR), participating in the proceedings of the First European Conference on Anti-Settlement took place in Brussels. The conference was organized by the Department of Expatriates Affairs of the Palestine Liberation Organization in cooperation with several European institutions advocating for the Palestinian people.
Call on the Palestinian National Authority to build a strategic plan to confront the occupation and start measures to prevent the Israeli occupation state by implementing it on bilateral understanding through international bodies and asking the Secretary General of the United Nations to place this issue on the agenda of the UN General Assembly.
• Invite the Supreme National Committee responsible for follow-up with the International Criminal Court to refer the settlement file under Article 14 of the ICC Statute of the international criminal court to ensure starting trials and investigations to begin using international mechanisms to hold the accounting accountable .
Put pressure on the international bodies, including the Security Council, the Human Rights Council, international institutions and the High Contracting Parties, to respect international humanitarian law and international human rights instruments and adopt a resolution to end the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories and to hold accountant the perpetrators of violations and the enforcement of relevant international resolutions on the Palestinian cause.
• Demanding the freedom fighter of the world to stand with justice to prevent violations of the rights of the Palestinian people and to move urgently towards isolating, boycotting and holding the Israeli occupation accountable. The Palestinian people have the right to enjoy freedom, justice and self-determination.
The participation of ICSPR in this international conference comes within the framework of its partnership with a wide range of international non-governmental organizations and alliances in its efforts to gain the widest support for its efforts to support the rights of the Palestinian people and to employ all the tools of international action to ensure the expansion of international solidarity with the Palestinian people and their legitimate rights.
