International Commission “Hashd” Calls for Immediate International and Humanitarian Action to Protect Civilians in Northern Gaza
The International Commission “Hashd” warns that the Israeli occupation forces continue to commit crimes of genocide in the Gaza Strip, carrying out horrific massacres and ethnic cleansing against civilians in northern Gaza. The latest atrocity was the bombing of displaced persons’ tents at the Yemeni Hospital in Jabalia camp, resulting in 18 martyrs and dozens of injured. This raises the death toll since the ground invasion of northern Gaza to 143 martyrs and hundreds of wounded, with some bodies still lying in the streets. More than 200,000 people have been forcibly displaced for the fourth time. Today, displaced persons in seven UNRWA shelters were forcibly evacuated through bombings and threats. Meanwhile, Israeli forces continue to besiege Jabalia camp and other areas in northern Gaza, preventing the entry of aid, food, and medicine.
The International Commission “Hashd” calls on the free world and international organizations to urgently intervene to stop the genocide and Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, provide international protection for civilians, hold the perpetrators of genocide accountable, and end the policies, plans, and crimes of siege, starvation, and forced displacement of the residents of northern Gaza. These measures aim to prevent the depopulation of the area and ensure the flow of humanitarian aid, food, medicine, and fuel to northern Gaza.
