The International Commission “Hashd” The Atrocities and Crimes Committed by Israeli Occupation Forces in Jabalia Camp and Beit Lahia Project Expose the Fascism, Racism, and State Terrorism of the Israeli Occupation
The International Commission to Support the Palestinian People’s Rights (Hashd) has condemned the atrocities and crimes committed by Israeli occupation forces in Jabalia Camp and the Beit Lahia Project, which expose the fascism, racism, and state terrorism of the Israeli occupation. These actions flagrantly disregard humanitarian principles, international law, and the decisions of the International Court of Justice and the United Nations.
Hashd: Over the past 20 days of the ground incursion in North Gaza Governorate, the Israeli occupation forces have employed a scorched-earth policy, resulting in the killing of hundreds and the forced displacement of residents in North Gaza. This has led to the destruction of residential neighborhoods, homes, and all public and service buildings in North Gaza Governorate, particularly in Jabalia Camp and the Beit Lahia Project. The withdrawal of ground forces from these areas revealed massive destruction, as if the region had been struck by an earthquake or tsunami. Photos, videos, and eyewitness testimonies show the extent of the destruction of infrastructure and the massacres of hundreds of civilians, whose bodies rescue teams and civil defense forces have started to retrieve from the rubble and streets. The search continues for dozens of missing persons among the ruins of homes, neighborhoods, shelters, hospitals, schools, clinics, UNRWA facilities, and markets, which have been completely destroyed. The occupation forces have also obliterated cemeteries, blatantly disregarding humanitarian principles and international humanitarian law. The ongoing acts of genocide by the Israeli occupation, now in their eighth month, aim to render Gaza uninhabitable, perpetuate the killing and forced displacement of Palestinians, and subject them to starvation, thirst, and the spread of diseases and epidemics.
Hashd: We strongly condemn the ongoing international failure to stop the Israeli-American genocide in Gaza. We warn against prolonging the war through negotiations, which serve to maintain the ruling fascist right-wing coalition in the Israeli occupation state. This coalition disregards all international condemnations, court decisions, and demands to cease the aggression and respect international law. We call on the free people of the world, their countries, and their societies to intensify their efforts across various fields to pressure the Israeli occupation state and governments to fulfill their humanitarian, ethical, and legal duties to stop the genocide, ensure the flow of aid, medical supplies, fuel, and humanitarian needs to alleviate the famine and disaster faced by Palestinians. We also call for the political and economic boycott of the Israeli occupation state, its expulsion from the United Nations, the imposition of sanctions, and the prosecution of its leaders and international partners as war criminals and perpetrators of genocide.
