The International Commission “Hashd” Condemns Israeli Occupation Massacre of Humanitarian Aid Seekers in Northern Gaza and Calls for an End to Aggression and Provision of International Protection
The International Commission “Hashd”: condemns the horrific massacre committed by Israeli occupation forces this morning against the humanitarian aid seekers from the hungry population of northern Gaza, who gathered at the Al-Nablusi roundabout on Rashid Street adjacent to the Gaza Sea, to obtain humanitarian aid due to the famine experienced by the people of Gaza. Israeli tanks stationed on Rashid Street directly targeted and fired at thousands of gathered civilians, leading to the killing of more than 100 martyrs and the injury of more than 500 others with various injuries. They were transported to Gaza hospitals, which have been restored to function as medical points despite being destroyed, power outages, fuel shortages, and shortages of medical supplies. In a deliberate repetition for the fourth time during the Israeli aggression, targeting civilians gathered waiting for lunch and humanitarian aid, Israeli occupation forces continue to obstruct the efforts of international organizations, preventing the flow and entry of humanitarian aid to the people of northern Gaza, for the fifth consecutive month, causing a humanitarian catastrophe and the spread of diseases and severe famine, leading to the daily deaths of dozens of citizens, most of whom are children, women, the elderly, and the sick.
The International Commission “Hashd”: confirms the insistence and intention of the Israeli occupation forces to target civilians and civilian objects in violation of all rules of international humanitarian law, human rights treaties, United Nations resolutions, and the International Court of Justice, by continuing the aggression and ongoing genocide war. This has so far resulted in the martyrdom of more than 30,000 martyrs and 8,000 missing persons, the injury of more than 70,000 wounded, most of whom are children and women, the forced displacement of more than 2 million people, and the arrest of more than 4,000 persons, including children and women, who were tortured and abused. They also destroyed 80% of the civilian sector’s homes and facilities, including hospitals that were taken out of service, making the sector a devastated and uninhabitable area where health and humanitarian services are non-existent. Its residents live in an unprecedented catastrophe and tragedy amidst the spread of famine, thirst, diseases, epidemics, loss of income, and shortages of medicines and relief aid, as well as the collapse of service systems, causing a humanitarian crisis and atrocities that are intolerable and affecting the lives and future of the people of Gaza, whose suffering worsens every day, with hundreds of them being killed, injured, and dying due to the continued crimes and aggression of the Israeli occupation.
The International Commission “Hashd”: strongly condemns the continuation of military support and American bias, as well as the silence, incapacity, and betrayal of the international community in not fulfilling its ethical and legal responsibilities to stop the Israeli aggression, which sacrifices the values and principles of humanity and the rules of international law, and contributes to the consolidation of the law of the jungle and the acceptance of double standards. It allows the continuation of genocide and international complicity in these crimes, which is why the international human family is more than ever required not to delay in taking all practical measures and measures to stop the genocide crime, provide international protection to the Palestinians, and not allow the continuation of massacres, targeting civilians, destruction of civilian facilities, forced displacement, and catastrophic inhuman conditions and famine in Gaza, by launching a maritime, aerial, and land bridge for the flow of humanitarian and relief aid to all Gaza residents without conditions or restrictions, and by activating mechanisms for accountability, boycott, and imposing sanctions on the Israeli occupation state until it complies with the rules of international humanitarian law, human rights treaties, and implements measures by the International Court of Justice and United Nations resolutions relevant to the Palestinian issue.
