An Appeal to the Human Family

The International Commission (Hashd) On the occasion of the anniversary of the issuance of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the international human family is well aware of the serious violations and the current catastrophic situation in Gaza. This situation means the continued sacrifice of the rights and lives of 2.3 million people who have asserted their rights guaranteed by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and relevant United Nations resolutions on the Palestinian issue.

  • The International Commission (Hashd): Over the past 64 hours of the Israeli aggression, 18,000 martyrs have been documented, 70% of whom are Palestinian children and women. More than 48,000 wounded have been reported, with 75% of them being children and women. Additionally, nearly 8,000 cases have been documented as missing, the majority of whom are under the rubble of their targeted homes hit by American-made missiles. The U.S. veto has blocked the international community from halting the aggression and the ongoing genocide.
  • The International Commission (Hashd): The suffering of 2 million forcibly displaced people continues, facing the imminent dangers of hunger, thirst, diseases, health epidemics, and the collapse of the humanitarian and health systems. This is happening amid limited aid, the expansion of ground invasions extending to the southern part of the Gaza Strip, and the continued punitive collective sanctions imposed by the Israeli occupation with the aim of displacing Palestinians.
  • The International Commission (Hashd): Condemning and strongly denouncing the use of Palestinian civilians by the Israeli occupation forces as human shields, the intentional invasion and destruction of citizens’ homes and shelters in northern Gaza, the arrest and brutal torture of hundreds of citizens, and the inhumane and professional abuse of their dignity, with some being killed in the field. These crimes are accompanied by the destruction of all elements of human life, the complete absence of water, food, basic needs, and health services in northern Gaza.
  • The International Commission (Hashd): The delay and inability of the human family to stop the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and protect civilians and civilian infrastructure render the standards of human rights and the rules of international humanitarian law mere ink on paper. It erodes trust in the work of regional and international institutions, making them complicit in the crimes of the Israeli occupation.
  • The International Commission (Hashd): Your intervention should escalate without further delay to stop the largest genocide, forced displacement, and ethnic cleansing committed by the Israeli occupation forces against the residents of the Gaza Strip. Pressure should be applied to halt the genocide and Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, provide international protection, and enhance relief and humanitarian aid efforts for the population at risk of famine, diseases, and thirst.
