I.C.S.P.R: STARTED TRAINING COURSE TO VOLUNTEERS’ OF GOVERNORATES TITLED “ADVOCACY AND HUMAN RIGHTS”
I.C.S.P.R: Started training course to volunteers’ of governorates titled “Advocacy and Human Rights”
The International Commission to Support Palestinians Rights, started a specialized training course on Saturday morning 18/2/2017 at its headquarter in Gaza city, entitled “Advocacy and human Rights” targeting 25 youth of both gender of the volunteers’ of Gaza Strip governorates.
Thaer Abo Aoun, Member of the Board of Directors, opened the training course, where he welcomed the participants and introduced international commission objectives and its role in protecting human rights and supporting Palestinians rights.
Dr. Alaa Hamouda, Director of Training department, added that: “This course looked into informing participants on human rights standards in international conventions and Palestinian legislation, in addition to the leadership and management skills in advocacy campaigns to support Palestinian rights.
It is worth mentioning that the training course will last for four days within 18 training hours, the training course sheds light on different topics including: human rights in international conventions and Palestinian legislation, Advocacy campaigns, youth initiatives, volunteering and leadership and team building.
