The International Commission (ICSPR), in cooperation with the Bahrain Public Library, opens the second session on “Preparing Trainers for School Parliament”

Occupied Palestine / Gaza: The International Commission to Support Palestinians’ Rights (ICSPR), in cooperation with the Bahrain Public Library in Jabalia Educational Zone of the International Relief Agency, today, Saturday, opened the second session of preparing trainers for the School Parliament, at the Bahrain Library Hall.

The training was led in the first part of the meeting by the trainers: Waad Ahmed Obaid, Heba Saadah, Reem Obaid. During the meeting, discussions were held about defining shyness as a strong emotion that makes a person feel full of defects and unacceptable to others.

During the explanation and discussion, the behavioral symptoms of shyness were touched upon: in terms of lack of speech in front of strangers, failure to look at the person who talks to us, inability to speak at social events, and physical symptoms: such as redness of the face, flushing of the cheeks, wetness and excessive sweat in the hands, heartbeat, strong and involuntary trembling, and emotional symptoms have also been talked about: feelings of embarrassment, insecurity, and a feeling of inferiority.

In the second part of the training, the participants were divided into working groups, and they were introduced to the causes of shyness and how to get rid of shyness through encouragement, reward and motivation, giving self-confidence and encouraging teamwork, socialization and the exploitation of special skills.

Before the conclusion of the meeting, the director of the Bahrain Library, Mr. Bassam Salha, participated with the participants in the dialogue, where he spoke about the term shyness, stressing the importance of this meeting, which comes in line with the requirements of the participants and opening horizons of knowledge in front of them.
