The International Commission to Support Palestinians’ Rights (ICSPR) opens the training for the moot court
Occupied Palestine / Gaza: The International Commission to Support Palestinians’ Rights (ICSPR) opened today, Tuesday, 10/22/2019, the training for the moot court of the International Criminal Court, with the participation of 20 lawyers and university students.
The training was opened by the Coordinator of the Training and Activities Department Dr. Alaa Hammouda and Dr. Salman Al-Hasanat, stressing that this training seeks to refine the trainees’ skills, increase their knowledge of the work of the court, and how to submit complaints, and at the end of the training, a moot court will be held.
The training will last for two months, for the selected trainees, after interviewing all the applicants and selecting those who meet the conditions and criteria.
The training will cover the following topics: international humanitarian law, international human rights law, the Rome Convention, the United Nations system and its specialized organizations, the International Criminal Court system, documentation and data and evidence collection, and how to prepare pleadings.
