ICSPR CONDEMNS THE TERRORIST BOMBINGS IN EGYPT
ICSPR condemns the terrorist bombings in Egypt
International Commission to Support Palestinian Rights (I.C.S.P.R) condemns the terrorist bombings on Sunday 9 April 2017 at Mar Girgis church in Tanta, as St. George’s Cathedral in Alexandria as a result many innocents people have been killed and dozens injured.
International Commission to Support Palestinian Rights (I.C.S.P.R) stressed its solidarity with the Egyptian people and with the families of the victims and injured, affirming that these crimes are contrary to religious principles and moral and human values, considering that this terrorist bombings aiming to create sectarian strife in Egypt, therefore it demand the following:
- I.C.S.P.R emphasized that terrorist crimes violates human rights, and require accountability for the perpetrators and to ensure the prevention of impunity.
- I.C.S.P.R reaffirms its condemnation of all forms of terrorism, especially the Israeli occupation terrorism against Palestinian people.
- I.C.S.P.R calls the international community to intensify cooperation to combat terrorism in order to preserve human rights and freedoms.
- I.C.S.P.R urges Arab states, Organization of the Islamic Conference and league of Arab States to promote their efforts in the promotion of tolerance as well as creating Arabic and Islamic environment rejecting extremism, atonement and religious discrimination.
