The International Commission Hashd Confirms Gaza Massacre Today as Additional Evidence of Israels Intent to Annihilate and Exterminate Gaza Residents

The International Commission to Support Palestinians Rights (Hashd) strongly condemns the war crime committed today by Israeli occupation forces against civilians gathered near the Kuwaiti roundabout on Salah al-Din Street, east of Gaza City. This incident occurred while awaiting the limited humanitarian aid obstructed by Israeli occupation forces, resulting in the martyrdom of 25 citizens and the injury of 120 others in a new massacre. It reaffirms the determination of the occupying state to annihilate and destroy the people of the region through killing, displacement, and starvation.

Israeli forces have prevented and hindered the entry of humanitarian aid to the residents of Gaza City and the north for three months. Earlier, on January 11 and January 22, 2024, Israeli forces committed massacres against citizens while awaiting humanitarian aid. Despite international coordination, they persist in firing at aid convoys, leading to the suspension of aid to the northern Gaza Strip.

The International Commission HashdInternational Coalition strongly condemns the continued failure of the international community and the United Nations to protect civilians and ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid to nearly 400,000 citizens suffering from famine, thirst, and the spread of diseases in northern Gaza due to the ongoing aggression, shortage of food and medicines, and the lack of safe drinking water. This has resulted in the deaths of dozens of children, women, the elderly, and the sick.

The International Commission Hashd calls on the United Nations, world governments, international and regional organizations to take serious action to stop the aggression and genocide against civilians in the Gaza Strip. It urges them to take all measures to ensure the opening of humanitarian corridors and the flow of humanitarian aid, medical supplies, and relief to the people of the region, especially those in northern Gaza. Additionally, it calls for activating mechanisms of accountability and international justice, holding Israeli occupation leaders accountable as war criminals, and imposing sanctions and boycotts on the Israeli occupation until it complies with the rules of international humanitarian law and human rights standards, ending its aggression and occupation of Palestinian territories
