The International Commission “Hashd” declares that Israel’s actions have become a danger to humanity, international security, and peace. The continued international failure to stop genocide, aggression, and ensure sufficient humanitarian aid flow means sacrificing the lives of Palestinians and humanitarian standards.
The International Commission “Hashd”: Deliberate Bombardment in Khan Yunis Causes Massive Casualties
The recent bombing of homes, tents, and displacement shelters in the Khan Yunis governorate has resulted in over 230 casualties and 450 injuries since yesterday. The indiscriminate shelling by Israeli tanks penetrating the western part of Khan Yunis targeted the International Relief Agency’s facility in Al-Mawassi, housing over 10,000 displaced individuals. This led to a fire that claimed the lives of 14 and injured over 75. Such attacks have been recurrent, including on the agency’s training center in the past two days, along with other shelters in Abassan and Al-Mawassi. These areas, claimed by Israeli forces as safe zones, have forced tens of thousands of displaced individuals from all Gaza regions, subjected to forced evacuation orders by the Israeli occupation forces.
The International Commission “Hashd”: Systematic Destruction Continues
The intentional and organized destruction of civilian homes and public and private properties, especially the demolition of homes and civil structures in border areas to establish buffer zones within the Gaza Strip, constitutes war crimes according to international humanitarian law. This is part of the genocide crime, rendering the Gaza Strip uninhabitable and evacuating its population.
The International Commission “Hashd”: Lives of a Million Gazans in Extreme Danger
The severe hunger, thirst, diseases, epidemics, and harsh cold weather are putting the lives of over a million Gazans, half of them children, in extreme danger. The recent storms have flooded the tents of displaced individuals, leading to a lack of proper bedding, blankets, and equipped tents. Additionally, there is a shortage of hygiene, bathing, and drinking water, sanitation tools, unhealthy food, as well as a significant lack of medicines, antibiotics, and vitamins. The health and environmental catastrophe are exacerbated by the inability of medical facilities to function due to the shortage of supplies, power cuts, hospital targeting, and exhaustion of medical staff.
The International Commission “Hashd”: Forced Displacement of Khan Yunis Residents to Rafah
The forced displacement of Khan Yunis residents to Rafah, now hosting over 1.5 million citizens, confirms the Israeli occupation’s intentions to complete the genocide by creating a new catastrophe and displacing the remaining population of Gaza.
The International Commission “Hashd”: U.S. and Some European Countries Implicated
The ongoing American partnership and support from some European countries for the Israeli aggression and the continuing genocide war on Gaza for 110 consecutive days implicate American and European officials in committing war crimes and crimes against humanity. Their failure to prevent the genocide crime may subject them to individual criminal liability for violating international law by “assisting and inciting” Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people. These crimes do not expire, and international justice institutions must take decisive action to activate international justice, accountability, and investigation mechanisms to prevent the escape of Israeli leaders and all those involved in committing international crimes, including agents, supporters, and mercenaries.
The International Commission “Hashd”: Call for Global Solidarity
The International Coalition calls on the international community, nations, and free people worldwide to intensify solidarity activities and pressure their governments to urgently stop the aggression and genocide war in Gaza. This includes preventing the forced displacement of Palestinians and all other Israeli occupation crimes in the occupied Palestinian territories. It also urges support for the struggle and rights of the Palestinian people, imposing boycotts and sanctions on the state of Israel, ensuring the flow of humanitarian aid to all Gaza regions, and opening humanitarian corridors according to international humanitarian law. This is crucial, particularly given the catastrophe that has befallen civilians due to collective punishment, the destruction of 80% of the Gaza Strip’s buildings and facilities, the displacement of 90% of its population, and the loss of livelihoods due to work stoppage and the destruction of agricultural, industrial, and economic facilities. The worsening humanitarian situation threatens the lives of tens of thousands due to ongoing targeting of civilians, acute aid shortages, and the collapse of services.
