The International Commission (Hashd) has declared that the conference “International Intrigues to Destroy the Muslim Family… CEDAW as an Example” constitutes criminal incitement against feminist organizations in Gaza.
The International Commission to Support Palestinian Rights (Hashd): The incendiary behavior of some participants in the conference “International Intrigues to Destroy the Muslim Family… CEDAW as an Example” held a few days ago in Gaza City, with official participation of government representatives and Legislative Council members, is considered illegal incitement against women’s institutions in the Gaza Strip, as is providing inaccurate information about the situation, in addition to the fact that it poses a real threat to women’s institutions and those working in them.
The International Commission (Hashd) reaffirms Palestinian women’s leading role in national and social struggle, as well as the role of women’s institutions as a crucial component of the Palestinian national movement, and calls on all governmental and official bodies to bear responsibility for protecting rights and freedoms away from incitement, punishment, and treason speech.
