ICSPR : The international community and the free world have a duty to act immediately to curb and deter the Israeli military occupation forces.
The International Commission to Support Palestinian Rights (ICSPR) denounces and condemns, in the strongest possible terms, the Israeli military occupation forces, at 16:15 p.m., today, Friday, August 05, 2022, on a number of air and artillery raids that targeted a number of city facilities in Gaza strip; As a result, according to the statistics of the Palestinian Ministry of Health, until 11:00 pm, (11) civilians were killed, including a girl (05 years), and 87 civilians were wounded. The International Commission to Support Palestinian Rights (ICSPR) believes that the Israeli escalation in the Gaza Strip is a violation of international law, and the consequences of the Israeli occupation authorities bear the consequences, And it warns that the current war attacks are a prelude to a broader aggression that Palestinian civilians will pay the price for, considering that the appropriate response to the current Israeli escalation in the Gaza Strip is to work on building a Palestinian strategy based on the internationalization of the conflict and the restoration of national unity, And considers that the Israeli occupation forces’ continued perpetration of their crimes against the citizens of the Gaza Strip and their civilian property, would not have been possible without the continuation of the policy of international silence and double standards, and the continuation of the leaders of the occupying power enjoying immunity in the face of international accountability and justice, And stressing that the Israeli occupation forces’ continued targeting of Palestinian civilians in general, and the residents of the Gaza Strip in particular, is a described and full-fledged war crime in accordance with the standards of the Fourth Geneva Convention and the Rome Statute establishing the Permanent International Criminal Court in The Hague.
Therefore:
1-ICSPR calls on the international community to promptly and urgently intervene to compel the Israeli occupation to stop its ongoing hostilities in the Gaza Strip, and work to prevent an increase in the scope of Israeli violence and aggression.
2-ICSPR urges the High Contracting Parties to the Geneva Convention to carry out their moral and legal duties by taking urgent action to stop the Israeli aggression, and to provide international protection for the civilian population, especially children and women.
3-ICSPR calls on the Palestinian leadership and the national community to unite to thwart the goals of the aggression and work to adopt a strategy based on internationalizing the conflict and maximizing the popular, diplomatic, legal and media engagement with the occupation, adopting the boycott and divestment movement from Israel, and calling on the countries of the world to impose sanctions on Israel and hold the leaders accountable The Israeli occupation as war criminals using international jurisdiction and the International Criminal Court.
