Enough with the Israeli violence and murder of Palestinian civilians in Gaza!
The International Commission to Support Palestinian Rights (Hashd) expresses its gratitude. In this urgent appeal, we encourage all of you to act as quickly as possible to put pressure on the Israeli occupying forces to stop their ongoing aggression and assaults in the Gaza Strip, in accordance with your legal and moral mission. Until the date of this appeal, all regions of the Gaza Strip were targeted with no discrimination or proportionality. Occupation aircraft targeted a number of citizens’ residential homes simultaneously in various parts of the Gaza Strip and at night while their residents and families were prepared to sleep, resulting in the deaths of (13) citizens, including (4) children and (4) women, and the injuries of (22) other citizens, including (3) children and (7) women, with a number of severe and critical cases among the injuries. constitutes a flagrant breach of the world’s lowest standards.
the International Commission for Supporting Palestinian Rights (ICSPR) sent all the institutions of the international community Among them: UN Special Rapporteur on violence against women, its causes and consequences , UN Special Rapporteur on arbitrary detention , UN Special Rapporteur on torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment , Secretary-General of the United Nations ,Secretary-General of the Organization of the League of Arab States , Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation , High Commissioner for Human Rights ,UN Special Rapporteur on human rights in the occupied Palestinian territory , Director of the Red Cross Mission in the Palestinian Territories.
Beginning the second day of Israel’s assault on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, two people were killed when their vehicle got hit in the southern Gaza Strip. This is in violation of international agreements and protocols, particularly the 1949 Geneva Accords and Protocols.
In view of the current occupation, the government’s racist acts, Israel’s violent attack against Palestinian residents and their property, Many of its ministers’ statements regarding incitement, advocacy of field execution, legislation, and acceleration of settlement, as well as the judaization of the occupied city of Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa mosque, as well as encouraging the killing of prisoners and detainees in its prisons by confiscating their minimum rights, assaulting them, refusing to give medical care, and engaging in deliberate medical neglect, the most recent of which was the introduction of a law on the execution of prisoners, constituted a genuine threat as a clear demand for disguised and unlawful executions. Other charters guaranteeing civilians the package of their inherent rights and criminalizing their confiscation or derogation were also illegal violations of the occupying power’s wartime obligations to the occupied territory’s residents. in conformity with the existing laws controlling military occupation authority and the legal standards requiring civilian protection in all cases.
As a result, the International Commission to Support Palestinian Rights (Hashd) warns of the international community’s continued silence and expresses its fear of further and developing brutal escalation in light of recent Israeli occupation authorities’ actions, such as the closure of Gaza Strip crossings and security measures on the Gaza Strip’s borders, indicating that war is conducive to expansion, which is paid for fully by civilians.
What immediately calls on you, both individually and collectively, to take action to end the war on terror so that its continuation will mean an extension of the policy of targeting more innocent people and their property in the Gaza Strip, including ensuring that all forms of violence against civilians cease and strengthening the law and justice system, as well as international accountability for human rights violations.
Last but not least, we hope that you will accept our urgent appeal in your position and on behalf of your organization, and that you will take all necessary cooperative steps to guarantee that the demands included in it are fulfilled as soon as possible. Tomorrow may be too late, which means the loss of more lives.
