ICSPR:A new bloody day in Gaza Strip , Occupation forces kill 07 Palestinians, including two children and injure dozens of participants in the peaceful return marches.
The international Commission to Support Palestinians’ Right(ICSPR) strongly condemns the Israeli occupation forces for the continued targeting of peaceful Palestinian demonstrators in the return marches for the 27th consecutive Friday, Where they use excessive and lethal force in dealing with children, women and young people participating in the marches, and deliberately targeting medical staff and journalists. According to Palestinian Ministry of Health, the Israeli occupation forces killed seven Palestinian civilians, including two children, from the Friday noon (September 28, 2018) till 20:00 (Local time of Palestine), All of them were wounded in the upper part of their bodies: the child Mohammed Nayef al-Houm(14 years) , Mohammed Ashraf al-Awawdeh( 23 years) , Child Nasser Azmi Mohammed Musabeh(12 years),Mohammed Ali Mohammed Anshasi(18 years),Iyad Khalil Ahmed al-Sha’er (18 years),Mohammed Bassam Mohammed Shakha(24 years ), Mohammed Walid Mustafa Haniya(33 years ), And injured more than (506) other citizens were injured by live bullets and gas bombs, Among the injuries were (3) serious cases, (1) severe cases, (35) children, (4) women, (4) paramedics, and (2) of the journalists. The continuing Israeli crimes are part of the continuation of the occupation forces to deliberately kill peaceful demonstrators, and the continuation of these forces to deny the international law; During the period between 30 March 2018 and 21 September 2018, 184 citizens were killed, Including 32 children, 30 female, 2 journalists, 30 paramedics, 30 persons with disabilities, and injured 2,470 citizens, including 3,840 children and 1875 women.
ICSPR The Commission considers that the continuation of the occupation forces in the killing of peaceful demonstrators is a frequent and shocking Israeli policy that denies the basic human rights, Considering that the insistence of the Israeli soldiers to harm the Palestinian demonstrators and the denial of their right to life carries a clear denial and disregard for the human rights system and international humanitarian law, Affirming that the method of the Israeli occupation forces to deal with the Palestinian demonstrators came within the framework of implementing a systematic plan and a political decision of the highest levels in the Israeli occupation state. Therefore, ICSPR demands the following:
1. ICSPR affirms that the Israeli occupation forces deliberately kill the demonstrators as a war crime in accordance with the Rome Statute establishing the Permanent International Criminal Court.
2. ICSPR Renews its warning to the Israeli occupation and its military forces against the policy of continuing to target civilians and demonstrators peacefully, and to take legal responsibility for this, and warns the international community against the continued silence on Israeli crimes against demonstrators.
3. ICSPR calls upon the International Human Rights Council to expedite the dispatch of the International Fact-Finding Commission to ensure compliance with its stated legal mandates.
4. ICSPR calls upon the Palestinian leadership and diplomacy to activate its role by referring all cases of physical violations and Israeli war crimes under Article 14 of the Rome Statute, which will ensure that Israeli criminals are not exempt from punishment.
